We'll Be Loyal Scouts

Welcome to the Homepage of Cub Scout Pack 1382!  Our Pack was first chartered by J.W. Alvey Elementary School in 2003.  We are located in Haymarket, Virginia and are part of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) National Capital Area Council (NCAC), Bull Run District.  Our scouts meet most Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm between September and June at the school.

Our Cub Scout Pack accepts all boys who either reside within school's boundary, or attends the 1st thru 5th grade at Alvey Elementary, and are 6 to 11 years old in age.

The BSA and Pack 1382 make no exceptions based on race, color or creed; and while the BSA and our Pack promotes a Duty to God, the BSA and our Pack does not promote any particular religion over another.

The aim of Pack 1382 is to teach Cub Scouting's Twelve Core Values and to provide a well-rounded program for our scouts.  Our goal of our program is for all scouts to have fun while learning and adventuring both in an indoor setting as well as an outdoor setting.  We strive to recognize our scouts' accomplishments to better themselves, their families, our pack, and to teach the important for service to others, our country, and to God.

The Cub Scout Promise

I promise to do my best
To do my duty to God and my country,
To help other people, and
To obey the Law of the Pack.

The Law of the Pack

The Cub Scout follows Akela.
The Cub Scout helps the pack go.
The pack helps the Cub Scout grow.
The Cub Scout gives goodwill.

The Cub Scout Motto

Do Your Best
